Podstatou tvořivě hravého konceptu je představa budování kvazi funkčního „dřevěného“ modelu internetové komunikace, s jehož pomocí jsou uskutečňovány vzájemné interakce a tvůrčí spolupráce. Artistní „hra na internet“ při tom často paradoxně poodhaluje jednotlivé mechanismy fungování skutečné internetové sítě.

Vedle všech nesporných výhod přináší internet také hrozby a nebezpečí. Jestliže největší rizika mohou být spojována s jeho nezměrnou „nadlidskou“ potencialitou a naší neschopností nadhledu nad jeho možnostmi, wooden web je třeba vnímat jako vědomý pokus o polidštění sítě, o kontakt „tváří v tvář“.

The essence of this playful creative concept is the idea of building a quasi-functional „wooden“ internet model of communication, through which actual interactions and creative cooperation are realized. Paradoxically, this artist’s „internet game“ reveals the actual functioning of Internet networks.

In addition to all the undeniable benefits, the Internet also poses threats and dangers. If the greatest risks can be associated with its immense „superhuman“ potential and our inability to oversee its possibilities, the Wooden Web should be perceived as a conscious attempt to pollute the net, through face-to-face contact.
