Types of Scholarships awarded<\/h3>\n
\n\t

Merit-based Scholarship<\/strong><\/h4>\n

To be eligible for a merit scholarship, a student must have earned at least 55 credits in the previous academic year and achieved a grade point average of up to 1.4. It can also be awarded in the first year of a follow-up Master\u2019s programme (the conditions are successful completion of the Bachelor\u2019s programme within the standard period of study and achieved a grade point average of 1.4 or lower (where 1.0 is the best grade), including the grade from the state final examination).<\/p>\n

Exceptional Scholarship<\/h4>\n

This may be a faculty scholarship, one proposed by a department, or one awarded by the Dean. The exceptional faculty scholarship is granted, for example, for significant scientific and research activities, representing the faculty, difficult social circumstances, supervising study rooms and computer labs, organising faculty-wide events, etc.
A departmental scholarship is awarded for significant scientific, research, and publication activities or other activities in accordance with the conditions set by individual departments.<\/p>\n

Doctoral Scholarship<\/h4>\n

The doctoral scholarship is awarded by the Dean to full-time doctoral students during the standard period of study and is paid monthly. A one-off extraordinary scholarship may also be granted for outstanding creative or academic achievements.<\/p>\n

Accommodation Scholarship<\/h4>\n

The Dean may award an accommodation scholarship to a student who has applied for it under the rules set out in the Rector\u2019s Directive and who meets the conditions stipulated in the UJEP Scholarship Regulations.<\/p>\n

Social Scholarship<\/h4>\n

The Dean awards a social scholarship if the conditions laid down in Section 91(3) of the Act are met, based on a written application submitted by the student to the Dean in accordance with the rules set out in the Rector\u2019s Directive.<\/p>\n

Extraordinary Scholarship awarded within the UJEP Student Grant Competition<\/h4>\n

The Dean may award an extraordinary scholarship under the UJEP Student Grant Competition to a student enrolled in a Master\u2019s or doctoral study programme.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
