Decentralised Identity has taken place in October 2017. It looks at art contexts
\noutside of the capital cities or the main centres of cultural interest. The two
\ninstitutions differ in their setting and work with various themes, materials and
\nquestions. Nonetheless, they are both distanced from the centre of power in their
\ncountries, developing their own ideas based on specific regional needs and
\nimmediate context, and creating their own cultural centres. Ten selected art
\nstudents have worked together in the two locations in Sweden and Czech Republic
\nin October 2017, and have explored the different conditions in which each of the
\nart colleges operates. The programme included a series of presentations, field
\ntrips, workshops and several public outcomes.<\/p>\n

The project is realised through support of ART UMU, Ume\u00e5, FUD UJEP, \u00dast\u00ed n.
\nLabem and \u010cesk\u00e9 centrum Stockholm\/Tjeckiska Centret Stockholm. Special thanks
\nto Jan Krti\u010dka, Robert Vlas\u00e1k and Billy Davis.<\/p>\n
