FOTOGRAFIC GALLERY, PRAGUE ANNOUNCES TWO INTERNATIONAL OPEN CALLS FOR EXHIBITION PROJECTS FOR 2025!<\/span><\/p>\n

Both open calls are meant for Czech and international artists (based in Europe), both individuals and art collectives. Fotografic focuses primarily on contemporary photography with overlaps and crossovers to other art fields and art experiments.<\/p>\n

1. OPEN CALL \u2013 PHOTOGRAPHY, NEW MEDIA, INSTALLATION, ETC.<\/strong>
\nIn the first open call, we are looking for exhibition projects mainly in the field of photography and new media, but also paintings and drawings to complement the exhibition program for 2025.<\/p>\n

2. OPEN CALL \u2013 MOVING IMAGE<\/strong>
\nThe second open call is focused exclusively on audiovisual projects, in the form of video art, short or experimental films and other formats for independent presentation in our \u201cvideo art space\u201d or in group exhibitions in the main gallery space.<\/p>\n

THE APPLICATION SHOULD BE IN CZECH OR ENGLISH AND MUST INCLUDE:<\/strong>
\n\u2013 an indication of which open call you are applying to
\n\u2013 short project annotation including photographs or visualization
\n\u2013 artist\u2019s portfolio and CV (pdf or web link)
\n\u2013 contact information (phone, e-mail)<\/p>\n

FOTOGRAFIC WILL PROVIDE:<\/strong>
\n\u2013 PR servis
\n\u2013 curator
\n\u2013 installation assistance
\n\u2013 organisation of an exhibition opening
\n\u2013 corresponding accompanying art events during the exhibition
\n\u2013 duration of the show 4-6 weeks, open to public Tue-Sat<\/p>\n

In case of financially demanding projects we recommend to seek your own individual grant support, Fotografic can provide some assistance with applications ( invitation letter etc.).<\/p>\n

\nDEADLINE: 15. 5. 2024<\/strong><\/p>\n

We will publish the results of both open calls by the end of June 2024 on the gallery\u2019s website and social media. (Note: By sending your works \/ portfolios we do not get the rights to use them. The candidate will always be informed in advance about the selection and further use of such materials)<\/p>\n
