We are pleased to inform you that the Ceramic Design studio at J. E. Purkyn\u011b University\u2019s Faculty of Arts and Design has announced this year\u2019s symposium on ceramics KEEP IN TOUCH, headed by Associate Professor Anton\u00edn Tom\u00e1\u0161ek and curated by Kry\u0161tof Hejn\u00fd.<\/p>\n

WHO CAN APPLY?<\/h4>\n

All students, designers, artists, and graduates under 35 years old regardless of nationality may apply to participate in the symposium. The selection is based on submitted projects and portfolios of previous works. An expert committee selects 12 projects.<\/p>\n

Fee of participation: 150 \u20ac<\/p>\n

Early Bird Deadline for receiving applications: April 26, 2024 \u2013 15 % fee discount
\nDeadline for receiving applications: May 10, 2024<\/strong>
\nNotification of the selected participants: May 17, 2024
\nArrival and accommodation from July 21, 2024
\nDeparture: August 9, 2024<\/p>\n

KEEP IN TOUCH will take place from July 22 to August 8, 2024<\/p>\n

As a special event, it includes
\nWORKSHOP WEEKEND \/ July 26 \u2013 July 28, 2024 \/ Presentations of Masters of craft and theory<\/p>\n

The fee covers a tree-week accommodation, materials for realization, firing, the use of technical and decoration equipment (except for gold and platinum which are provided for extra payment) and subsequent presentation costs. Participants are individually responsible for personal living expenses, i.e. transport, food, etc.<\/p>\n
