New Multifunctional Furnace in the Plaster Workshop
New Multifunctional Furnace in the Plaster Workshop
Thanks to ČEZ Foundation, we have acquired a new multifunctional furnace within the Faculty of Art and Design. This will enhance the quality of teaching and expand the possibilities for processing students’ works, whether they are semestral, bachelor’s or master’s projects. The old furnace did not meet current operational requirements, had higher electricity consumption, and frequent breakdowns required redoing some students projects, which was both uneconomical and demotivating. The new furnace, located in the plaster workshop, allows for firing ceramics, porcelain, as well as glass melting and fusing.
We appreciate the ČEZ Foundation for enabling us to acquire this excellent multifunctional furnace!
