ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE STUDENT GRANT COMPETITION (SGS) FOR DOCTORAL STUDENTS IN THE VISUAL COMMUNICATION STUDY PROGRAM FOR THE YEAR 2025
The researchers of the one-, two- and three-year grants can be both doctoral students and teachers or their supervisors*. Both other PhD students and Master’s students may be invited to join the research teams.
The SGS committee will give preference to those project applications whose implementation teams provide a significant output in the field of design, art or curatorial activity (applicable in the RUV), but also include a relevant research output (publication, article in a professional journal with RIV potential). Under the above link you will find Rector’s Directive No. 8/2023, which precisely sets out the rules of the SGS. We remind you that when creating the project budget, the investigator must comply with the basic condition that more than 75% of all personal costs should be directed to students in the form of scholarships. Project applications for 2025 must be submitted in final form in a double printed and signed version to the hands of Markéta Chalupová (door number 230), but also electronically to marketa.chalupova@ujep.cz by the deadline of 10 January 2025. * An academic staff member may be the principal investigator of a project, but only if one of the outcomes of the project is the submission of an external scientific grant – under national grant schemes (GAČR, TAČR) or European grant schemes (Horizon Europe, COST, LIFE, or ERC).
