Solo exhibition by Zdena Kolečková (1969, Ústí nad Labem), presenting her authorial project on her home stage after more than twenty years, focuses on reflecting the dynamic shift in societal paradigms, current geopolitical conflicts, and the emotions of individuals in today’s post-industrial and globalized information society. Through her individual projects and the exhibition as a whole, the artist emphasizes the need for empathy, solidarity, cultivation, sustainability, and responsibility. She builds upon the conceptual approaches, expressive techniques, and thematic aspects that characterized her work in the 1990s. In this way, she returns to the roots of her own creation, influenced by feelings of confinement and threat, while also enriching it with experiences and developmental parallels of recent years. Past concerns are evoked in the currently experienced conflicts and crisis situations.
