The EXIT Award is a competition for students from Czech and Slovak art universities declared by Faculty of Art and Design Jan Evangelista Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem. It is a biennial event which happened for the fist time in 2003 and since 2013 it is also opened to students from Slovak art universities.  The main ambition of EXIT Award is to co-create an active and communicative environment on campus, to motivate students to implement their own artistic projects in a professional exhibition institution (in Emil Filla Gallery so far).

This creates a continuously live platform informing about current trends, pedagogical activities and priorities at Czech and Slovak art universities.
