The Studio of Fashion and Textile Design of the Faculty of Art and Design in Ústí nad Labem is launching together with the Studio of Fashion Design of the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava a long-term project ZERO IMPACT.
They are also cooperating with WEARME FASHION and Italian textile manufacturers TRENDYTEX, BOTTO GIUSEPPE and ORGANIC COTTON COLORS.
This project is led by MgA. Jan C. Löbl (FUD), Mgr. art. Barbara Peuch ArtD., Dipl. Dread. Zuzana Šebeková ArtD.
A joint long-term project of the Fashion and Textile Design studios of FUD and the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava, dealing with the sustainability of the fashion industry and development in the sustainable fashion sector, involving industry professionals to share their knowledge, experience and sustainable resources.
With this program, the creative community within local universities can experience and create fashion in accordance with sustainable principles, processes, resources and raw materials. This extraordinary connection and contact with the world of the industry will support the teaching of a new generation of designers, providing them with unique knowledge and supporting the creation of a network of people with the same thinking. During the excursion, the students visited Italian factories for wool, cotton, silk and metal and plastic zippers, and finally presented their projects to business owners.
Students have already presented a joint project at an exhibition of their final semestral works and at a Fashion Festival in Minsk. They also have a showcase at Designblok 19 and a fashion show at the Italian Sustainable Substances Fair.

FASHION IDEA FESTIVAL / MINSK
Our students of the Studio of Fashion and Textile Design at FUD UJEP and students of the Studio 343 of the Textile Design at VŠVU in Bratislava have just returned from the FASHION IDEA FESTIVAL in Minsk, where they presented their joint work on this project during the last semester.
Fashion Idea Festival is the first narrow-profile festival focused on the search and presentation of young design talents and related areas of modern fashion. This is where the designers of clothing, accessories, photographers, illustrators, stylists, bloggers and other creative teams will be able to present their work to a wide range of people, not just the format and scope of existing events.
