The Dean of FUD UJEP hereby announces a call for the submission of proposals for publication to be supported by the Major Publishing Grant for 2026. The support is intended for authors from among members of the academic community of FUD UJEP, in accordance with Dean’s Directive No. 1/2017.

Evaluation criteria:
a) the significance of the publication for the development of the Faculty’s creative, research and artistic activities
b) the significance of the publication for the representation of the Faculty
c) the possibility of including the publication in the RIV or RUV evaluation system
d) the significance of the publication for the development of the fields of Fine Art, Design and Visual Communication

Proposals shall be submitted to the Chair of the FUD Editorial Board via the Editorial Office in electronic form to the following email address: klara.mrkusova@ujep.cz, and simultaneously in printed form with the approval and signature of the Head of Department, Šárka Novotná (Office No. 327), no later than Friday, 27 February 2026.

Proposals for publication and the requested amount of the publishing grant will be assessed by the FUD Editorial Board no later than 31 March 2026. The Board will propose a selection of publications for inclusion in the 2026 Publishing Plan.

The form “Proposal for Publication”, to be completed by the author or editor of the proposed book, is available as an annex to the above-mentioned Directive and can also be found on the Publishing section of the website under “For Authors”.
