We are a studio that provides a well-founded environment and expertise for the study of glass and its various forms, whether as product, object, installation, or digital project. We foster courage and, together with our students, pursue a path of experimentation, exchange, authenticity, and innovation. Our collective is grounded in tradition while cultivating its own vision.
Within the studio, design and art are conceived as interconnected domains. This disciplinary balance enables an education based on a broad range of semester-long as well as short-term assignments. Students engage with real-world projects, acquire appropriate communication skills, and develop the ability to present their solutions effectively. The advancement of traditional artistic techniques alongside digital design methods constitutes a standard component of studio-based instruction. Core topics of consultation include purpose, form, proportion, material, concept, installation, art, design, and the pursuit of high-quality, well-considered solutions.
We provide students with access to galleries and to enterprises both small and large. We actively support teamwork and inter-studio collaboration. A graduate of the studio is a reflective individual, capable of adapting to the needs of professional practice or of entering the art market with confidence, extending beyond a sole specialization in glass.
