Graduation Ceremony of the academic year 2022/2023
On Thursday 29 June 2023, a graduation ceremony of students from the Faculty of Arts and Design took place at the House of Culture in Ústí nad Labem. During the event, the Dean, Professor Zdena Kolečková, Ph.D., presented diplomas to all graduates of the bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral study programs. Congratulations!

Habilitation Lecture of Antonín Tomášek
On Thursday, 29 June 2023, the habilitation lecture of Antonín Tomášek, the Head of the Ceramic Design Studio at the Faculty of Art and Design at UJEP, took place. We are pleased to announce you that the Art Committee unanimously recommended to the rector of UJEP to award Antonín Tomášek the academic title of “docent” (Associate Professor).

Heraclitus’ Principle / One hundred years of coal in Czech art
Especially in recent years, coal mining and its subsequent processing have become a strong controversial topic. Considering the identity of the affected regions, including the Ústí nad Labem Region, the given subject resonates even more on a societal level. The exhibition theme is also embraced by artists associated with FUD.
Removal of all objects from the corridors of FUD building due to painting – until 30 June inclusive
Due to the planned painting of the building, we kindly request the heads of studios and students to remove all objects (furniture, artworks, promotional materials, etc.) from the corridors, entrance area, and main staircase. Please remove everything from the floor and walls. Use the studio spaces for storage. Please complete this by Friday 30 June.
Graduation Ceremony 2023
The graduation ceremony of the BACHELOR’S, MASTER’S, and DOCTORAL degree programs of the Faculty of Art and Design will take place on Thursday 29 June 2023, in the cinema hall of the House of Culture (Kulturní dům) in Ústí nad Labem (each student can be accompanied by a maximum of 4 guests).
