How do we perceive the poster today? How is its presentation evolving in the face of acceleration, technological development and virtual environments? The editor Lenka Sýkorová tries to answer these questions in the English edition of this publication, which is a continuation of the Virtual Biennale Prague project, which since 2007 has been based on the principles of non-verbal and intercultural communication. This international project fulfils the need for a non-commercial poster exhibition that is not burdened with a large institutional and production burden.

(Jak vnímáme plakát dnes? Jak se vyvíjí jeho prezentace tváří v tvář zrychlení, rozvoji technologií a virtuálnímu prostředí? Na tyto otázky se snaží odpovědět editorka Lenka Sýkorová v anglickém vydání této publikace, která navazuje na projekt Virtual Biennale Prague, jenž od roku 2007 vychází z principů neverbální a interkulturní komunikace. Tento mezinárodní projekt naplňuje potřebu nekomerční výstavy plakátu, která není zatížena velkou institucionální a produkční zátěží.)
