Ingeborg Fülepp: Synergy of Image and Sound in the media art of „media in motion”

Media in Motion (mediainmotion.de) was an independent organization founded by Heiko Daxl and Ingeborg Fülepp to promote the new media art. From 1990 – 2012 they carried out numerous artistic projects of media and multimedia art and curated international exhibitions, symposia, workshops and video programs, especially the Media-Scape in Croatia and Strictly Berlin in Germany. From 2011 to 2012 they founded and directed the gallery MIM and MORE in Berlin.
The lecture is conceived as a presentation and structural analysis of their artistic works. There will be interactive video installations, scenographic video projects created in cooperation with the Studio for Electroacoustic Music at the AdK Academy of Arts in Berlin. At the end, it will be shown several short videos works.
prof. Ingeborg Fülepp je vizuální umělkyní, profesorkou media artu a zakladatelkou Center for Innovative Media na Academy of Applied Arts v Rijece a zároveň působí na University of Applied Sciences v Berlíně. Od poloviny 90. tých let je spoluorganizátorkou i účastnicí nekonečné řady významných festivalů a výstav v oblasti nových médií, experimentálního i klasického filmu a sound artu v Evropě i po světě.
