Critical Curating Art from Conflict Zones
What is curating art from conflict zones today, if we understand curating as a “personal choice”? How much is the political situation in a country changing the curator’s choice? Who rules and what do they mean? During the “Critical Curating Art from Conflict Zones” will be considered cases of international art projects from conflict zones with a special focus on activities of Garage33. Gallery-Shelter and its residents, and also sculptors that create art bodies for public spaces of Ukraine.
Natasha Nagaewska is a Ukrainian curator and art critic based in Warsaw. She graduated from Jagiellonian University in Krakow.
