Collagraphy is a graphic technique in which a various choice of materials is literally glued onto a plate and printed. The research the student undertakes, is crucial to this entire process. There are a lot of possibilities to draw or paint on ( for example) a plastic plate and add some materials like sand, metal powder …. Students are free to choose a figurative theme or to start from the material and work themselves through the process with their own colors. The prints will certainly surprise you!
